‘Badra Satvi’ (likely a phonetic spelling of the Sanskrit Bhadra Satva or Vajrasattva) refers to Vajrasattva, a key figure in Vajrayana Buddhism, who is sometimes, as here, depicted with a consort. He is a Sambhogakaya Buddha, often invoked for purification practices
This is an original piece painted by a modern day Thangka master (Lama). The Lama train for a minimum of 15 years under masters before they reach titled lama status.
